I am descended from Dennis Cheshier, b: abt 1800 in VA. He married first to Betsy Ault, Feb 28, 1822 in Knox Co., TN. He married second to my gr gr grandmother Eliza Thomas on Feb 10 1842 in Grainger Co., TN. They were living in Hamilton Co., TN in 1850. Dennis must have died between 1850-1860. He was not with the family in 1860. Their children were Sarah, Calvin Callaway, Susan, Lydia and my great grandfather Albert Dennis Cheshier. Albert married Cynthia Ellen Bush abt 1874 and in 1880 they were in Bedford Co., TN. They moved from there to TX. by 1882. They were in Delta Co., TX in 1910. One of their sons name was Blufus Cheshier and he is buried in Bogata, Red River Co., TX. Blufus named one of his sons Weldon. I know that their was a Weldon Chesher living in Bedford Co., TN in 1860. He may have been named after him. I am trying to find who the parents of Dennis Cheshier were. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
