I have my Daniel CHESHIRE b. ca 1763. His wife was Jane or Jean SIMPSON. Their son Edmund b. 1795 in Richmond, VA d.31 Aug,1861 in Cedar Co, MO. He first married an unknown women and they had a son James Pryor Chesher. His second wife was Rachel SMITH b.1809,TN d.1901.They had Wm.Presley,& Mary. Edmund was a farmer in TN, went west in 1849 for the Gold Rush by way of Panama Canal, returned to TN on 1850 where he remained until his death.....His son , James P. Chesher m. Susan McCONNELL 7 Apr,1846 in MO. They settled in Lane Co, OR. This is my line and I have a small amount more on their children etc... I have not done much on this line as of yet, but do have family contacts who are CHESHIREs and have quite a bit more. I can share their addresses by e-mail upon request.
