Hi Shirley and Pat:

This is what I have on the Cheshires ---

John Cheshire born 1745 St Mary's Co., Maryland died 1832 Rowan Co., North Carolina. He was a farmer

John Cheshire married Catherine GRAVES born 1747 Colonial Maryland

Their children:

1. Mary Tennison Cheshire married Jacob MILLS
2. Tennison Cheshire born 1791
3. Margaret Ann Cheshire born 1795 Virginia and married George W. WALKER
4. John Cheshire Jr.
5. Burch Cheshire

Mary Tennison Cheshire and her husband, Jacob Mills moved to Adair County KY in 1820. They had at least 7 children.

Tennison Cheshire -- MAY have married Barbara MOCK in NC.

My notes say Burch Cheshire may have been the son of Susannah (?) first wife of John Cheshire - I have found nothing that says John was married to anyone other than Catherine Graves.

Margaret Ann Cheshire and George W. Walker married 1817 in NC and had at least 6 children. They were in Kentucky by 1833 and remained their until their death. They are buried in the Roley Cemetery Casey Creek, KY. George married Manervia Cunningham after the death of Margaret - they had no children.

Happy to share and appreciate any help.

Betty ---- in Texas
