Daniel Simpson Chessher, B. 5 Mar. 1836, Overton Co., TN, D. 16 Sept 1916, Los Angeles, CA.

Married Elizabeth Roberts Daughtrey, B. 28 Dec 1842, Austin County, Texas, D. ? M. 7 Nov. 1860, location unknown, probably Austin County.

According to his obituary, his

"... life was counted so worthy that his biography is found in the Encyclopedia. He was a college man and a leader among men in the state of Texas, where the most of his life was spent. He practiced medicine for several years. Later he graduated from a law school and served as Judge for 12 years in the County of Williamson, Texas. He was a trustee for the University at Georgetown, Texas and a trustee of the Methodist Church South, at the same place, where he assisted in many church functions for 35 years. ...He was Second Lieutenant in the 29th. Texas Infantry."

Specifically, I am looking for data on him, his siblings (if any), either his fore-fathers or those of his wife.
