Seeking information on John Baptist Cheshire (Chesser, Chesshir), b. ca 1753, served 6th VA Reg't in Revolution. Moved to Washington Co., KY before 1800 census, to Hardin Co., KY before 1820 census, then to Floyd Co., IN before 1829. Wife Sarah (?), Proven children, Thomas and Jane, unproven, Benjamin and Jonathan.
From where originally? Wife's maiden name? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
