Seven Cherry Brothers From Scotland

I have read that seven Cherry brothers emigrated to the U.S. from Scotland in the early 1700's, and settled on the east coast.

One of their descendants, George Cherry, was
a pioneer settler in Arlington, Shelby Co., Tennessee (abt. 1842). He m. Jane Sloane, had a daughter, Jane (Jennie) Anderson Cherry who m. John William Zellner 13 Dec 1873, had 7 children.

Can anyone tell me more about this family?
