I believe George Washington Cherry and Jenny Lind Clay went to Chita, Trinity Co., TX to live shortly after they were married. They had at least two children, Revis Cherry and Smoot Cherry. I don't know anything about son Revis, but Smoot married and had children in South Texas around Houston and Galveston.
