Betty, I am not sure where you got the information regarding Abigail being a Cherry. Abigail's surname is actually PLUMLEE. You may want to post a query on the Plumlee Family Genealogy Forum, as there are several researchers working on the Jackson County, TN PLUMLEE families. Also, there is a book on the Plumlee Family by Robert Plumlee available in many libraries. (I believe that the book is sold out now.)
