Do you by any chance have Cherrys who went to Alabama. I'm looking for information on a Will Cherry c.1861. My search stops there.
My Will supposedly married or at least had children by Mandy Lou Luck c.1870. They are
thought to have lived in Greene or Tuscaloosa
counties in Alabama, and may have come from Mississippi. The children; Nannie Lou Cherry
c.1887, Wesley C. Cherry 1892, Lewis Cherry
c. 1890, James Cherry c.1899. Nannie Lou Luck Cherry married a Samuel McDaniel on April 20,1899. They had two more children,
James Harvey, and Houston McDaniel. Nannie
Cherry married "Jack" Paul Jackson Phillips.
They lived at a location where the Tuscaloosa and Greene Counties meet. There are census records that show them in Knoxville,
Greene Co., and Ralph Tuscaloosa Co. There was Lucks that showed up in the 1910 census in Fosters, Al. Tuscaloosa Co. Ralph,Fosters,
and,Knoxville are adjoining communities.
Hope you have information concerning my family. Thanks so much.
