The William Mc (McCreight) Cherry who died 26 Sep 1867 at age 6 years, 6 months and 9 days buried in the Cherry Cemetery, was a son of Robert Cherry (b. 24 May 1812 Chester Co., SC) and Anna Finch (b. in SC). Anna Finch died 25 Sep 1867 and may be buried in that same cemetery.

Robert Cherry was a son of William Cherry (b. 24 Jun 1751 County Antrim, Ireland) and Jane Fee (b. 21 Jun 1789 County Antrim, Ireland).
