I think Hillary Cherry is the son of John Cherry and his wife, Franky. John Cherry died in 1813.

Norfolk Co., VA WB 4:175, John Cherry, proved 2-15-1813. Hillary and John Cherry, executors. Will names my wife Franky Cherry, my daughter Mary Scott, my son John Cherry, my grandchildren: Elizabeth Cherry, Franky Cherry, James Cherry. Can't be sure whose children the grandchildren are, but Hillary Cherry had a daughter Elizabeth Cherry.

Mary Cherry was married to Henry Scott, May 30, 1801, in Norfolk Co., VA.
