I am looking for a Cherry/Gosney connection in Campbell Co., KY. My grandmother Blanche Cherry (unk parents) b. 1852 in Campbell Co. was orphaned and raised by Nancy Frances Gosney (possibly Blanches aunt) and her husband Charles H. Smith. Nancy F. Gosney was born in Iowa in 1853 and is believed to be the daughter of Bartlett Lane Gosney and Mary (Polly) Hull Hopkins. Bartlett was the son ofBenjamin Gosney and Margaret Colvin. These were all Campbell Co., KY families. Does anybody have a connection with this family to the Cherrys? I know that the 1860 Campbell Co. census shows Bartlett living near Nicholas Cherry but I can find no known connections.
