I have info re: Joel & Nancy's children through their son, Willie Cherry, b May 7, 1805, my ggggrandfather(I think). Joel & Nancy had eight sons, John, Willie, Frank, James, Williard, Thomas, Joshua & William. There were 5 daughters, Mary, Elizabeth, Pricilla, Harriet, Jane. Their home was in Lancaster District, SC. and they moved to GA. Willie married Matila Moore, Taliaferro Co, GA in 1830 & moved to MS. They had 11 children, one of which was my gggrandmother Smallwood(I can't find her first name yet). Contact me & I will provide more info thru this line.
