Does anyone know my CHERRY-OWENS ??
These families connected in TN, migrated to AR, and later would move on to Texas.Counties in Texas - Collingsworth, Denton, Victoria, Young, Tarrant, Wise. I would like to exchange data with any descendants of the Cherry/Owens family.
I am trying to learn who the parents were of Francis Marion Cherry. His father born in PA and mother born in SC.
I have considered that he may be an unknown son of Capt Benjamin F Cherry and Charlotte Walker.Two of his daughters would marry into the Owens family.

Other Cherry/Owens connections were-
Williamson Brannan(in-law to Owens), married Cassandra Cherry.
Thomas Jefferson Owens married Rhoda Ellen Keeney ,
whose mother was Louisa Cherry. Both Cassandra and
Louisa were daughters to Capt Benjamin Cherry and
his first wife, Charlotte Walker.
