Looking for information on a Minervia Jane Cherry
Born; May 7, 1844, died Jan.7,1933. She married a
John Carson sometime in 1864,John was born
Sept. 25,1839, died Feb. 15,1901. Minervia and
John died in Pleasanton, Kansas , in Linn County.
It is said that Minervia was from Kewanee,Ill, and
Her parents were from Ireland. In the census of 1860
I found John in Saxouburgh, Bulter Co. Penn, then I found
Them in the Bates Co. Walnut Twp. Hume Missouri, in 1870.
John was a Veterinarian there. After having three of their
children they came in a Covered wagon to Hume Mo. for a year then
moved to Pleasanton, Kansas in 1869,
Where they lived until their death. Minervia had a brother
Named Dick Cherry who was in the Civil War.

Lottie Mae b. Mar.29,1883-d.May 7,1970---Guy Donald b.
Apr.25,1886-d.Dec.22,1951-Nellie Blanch b.Feb.1,1889-
d. Dec.22,1970
