Cherry, June (Holmes) View/Sign Guest Book
CHERRY - June (ne?e Holmes) June 13, 1926 - January 26, 2008 June passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side. She will be remembered for her nurturing, friendships, volunteering, gardening, quilting, and senior's activities. June is survived by her loving husband, Peter, and will be sadly missed by their daughter, Alix (Tom); son, David (Coreen); brother, David (Lois); grandchildren, Amanda, Trevor, Brian, and Analise; as well as many family and friends in Canada, England, and elsewhere. A memorial tea will be held in June's honour at the West Vancouver Legion, Memorial Hall, 580-18th Street, on Thursday, January 31 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
