John H. Cherry who published the "Cherry Clearinghouse" for many years helped me a great deal with the Macoupin County CHERRY families. I know that he was working with another person, in hopes of publishing a book on all the CHERRY families.
John mentioned the name, but I was unfamiliar with the other person and sadly, did not make note of it. He said the other person had an identical database so that his research would not be lost should anything happen to his computers or himself.
Does anyone know if the other person continued Mr. Cherry's research after his death in 2002? Who might that person be, how can he/she be contacted, etc. Any information regarding Mr. Cherry's research is appreciated.
