Yes, John Cherry got in touch with me about my original post. My Henry L. Cherry was born in Howard County, Missouri; and son of John W. Cherry and Elizabeth Boyer. Henry was brother to Joel Lilley Cherry. John W. was born in North Carolina on August 12, 1795; and was son of James (J.) Cherry and Sarah ??? of North Carolina, who died in Cannon County, Tennessee.
