I don't know if there is a connection or
just coincidence.

I have a James McAfee b. 1809 who
married Elizabeth Cherry in Wayne Co.,
Ohio on Nov. 12, 1846. Elizabeth was
his 2nd wife after the death of his first,
Rachel Dinsmore.
They migrated from Wayne County, OH
to Wells Co., Indiana between 1850 and
1860. Lived in Lancaster Twp. in Wells
Co.
There is also a McClelland in my family.
Sarah Jane "Jenny" McAfee married
Joseph McClelland in Wayne County, OH.
Sarah Jane was born in 1852 in OH.

I read somewhere where Elizabeth
Cherry came from a family of early
colonists in America.

I really don't have too much on the
Cherry or McClelland lines.
