Looking for information on my ggggrandmother Mary Ready Hatfield Cherry. She was married to George Alan Cherry. They lived near Linneus in Linn County, Missouri. She was born about 1833. She died February 17, 1902 near Linneus, Linn County, Missouri. I have no info as to where she was born or who her parents or siblings were. Word has is she was an Indian decendant. Would also like info on that if available.
I have an old photo of her and her husband George's gravestone's. They are buried in the country near Linneus, Linn County, Missouri across the road from one of my McKenzie relatives as their daughter Mary Catherine Cherry married Ignathus (Nathan) McKenzie. There are several Cherry family members buried there. Unfortunately the stones have now deteriorated beyond recognition. George and Mary Ready Hatfield Cherry's other children were daughter's Onie Cherry Alexander, Amanda J. Cherry Turner, and a son Dee Cherry. Any info on Mary Ready Hatfield Cherry's parents and/or siblings would be greatly apreciated.
