Peter Cherry Family, Oregon; England

Hi!

We bought a historic home in Astoria, Oregon, that was built by British consul to India, Peter Lacey Cherry, in 1883. He was an Englishman born in India in 1848, and moved to Oregon in the 1870s. I'm interested in finding any of his descendents, to see if they might be willing to show me any old photos of him, his wife Ellen Rogers, or the house that they might have. They had four sons, Edward, George, Philip, and Harry.

What came with the house that other Cherrys might find interesting is a copy of the pedigree listing the ancestors he descended from: Thomas Cherry, born 1504 - John Cherry, born 1526 - John Cherry, born 1544 - Thomas Cherry, born 1568 - Thomas Cherry, born 1596 - George Cherry, born 1630 - George Cherry, born 1676 - William Cherry, born 1699, George Cherry, born 1731 - Peter Cherry, born 1773... that's as far as they go.

Susan
