I've not tried to pinpoint the location of the church, but here are a few items that may or may not help. First, there is still a cemetery in Martin co that is identified as the Skewarkey cemetery. Second, other researchers have made statements that the name of the town of Williamston was originally Skewarkey. That may or may not be correct. Third, my Ferrill, Eastwood, and Biggs families were all on land that was initially in Tyrrell co and later became part of the eastern portion of Martin co, as opposed to the western portion that was in Halifax co.
