I am on the trail of my Meeks line.
I am looking to find the father of William J. Meeks, born in Fairfield County in 1800.
William J. was married to Rachel CARR from Fayette County, PA.
His father may have been Joshua Meeks, that died in Fairfield County in 1801.
I know Joshua had a relative named John.
Here is some information, from the book
Pioneer Period and Pioneer People of Fairfield County, OH by CML Wiseman,
that was provided.
(Joshua Meeks is not mentioned with the family when they go into detail.
He is in the book with Ralph and Ann Cherry, when they arrive in Fairfield County
and he dies in 1801,)

Several Family Members Buried in Old Wells Cemetery at Hooker in Fairfield County, Ohio
One interesting fact, of all the people in the world to move to Wells County, IN in 1850-1860 when my GG-Grandfather, George Meeks moves there, is a Ralph Cherry.
There appears to be strong connections to my family line here.
Any information about these people would be appreciated!
