Hi Austin: The prounciation which you used is the way my greatgrandmother pronunced HER mother's maiden name.
My gr.gr.grandmother was Elizabeth Cherry. I don't have her parents names. She married Frank Lowmiller in eastern Ohio, where they raised their family. I have no idea how many children they actually had, I know of Eliza Jane who was my gr.grandmother, and possibly a daughter named Arminta, and a son John. I really wish I had paid more attention to details when I was a teenager! It's nice to see someone your age that is interested. Keep at it - sometimes you run into brick walls, but post on all forums that you can. When you least expect it, someone will send you a missing piece of info that will really help you.
