Thanks for responding to my message. I believe my Ann is a different one, since her husband was Charles Ferris. However it is possible we are from the same line. I have reason to believe my Ann is a descendent of either Moses or Reuben, both sons of William of Morristown, NJ. It is possible, William may be the son of Reuben, who father was also Reuben and grandfather Thomas. accoring to article published by the Morris Area Genealogy Society Thomas was born in 1690 and moved to Connecticut Farms NJ. Thomas was the great grandson of Henry Cherry. It is believed Henry was the first of this line of Cherry's to come to America arriving in Weathersfield, CT on or about 1650 . The article further indicates, Reuben moved to PA for 3 yrs. and then to Finger Lakes of NY. Their son Reuben moved to Ohio with his father following him. I am hoping I can find someone to help us tie the links between the NJ PA NY and Ohio Cherry's.
