And daughter of Catherine Kelley (nee Chenowith born 1920 in Towson,Md, oldest of 7) They resided in Hamilton, Maryland. Our name is of Cornish origin & derived from the place name Chenoweth, located in Cornwall. Variants of surname includes Chynoweth. There are records of the Chenowith name in Harford County,Md as arriving at the harbor of Joppatown, Md as early as 1776.Two other nee family names are Dei & Sauerbere. Baynes,Emgee,Kelbaugh,are also married family names
