Dear Howlett "Hugo" Chennault reseachers,
I have been researching this name to find
an answer to this:
) Marriages of Some VA Res. 1607-1800 by Wulfect Vol I says/
"Wm m bef 21 June 1738 Mary, Admistatrix of Howlet Chenault, Proven by
Essex Co. Records (June 21 1738)
The Wm and Mary is referring to my ggggg
grandparents Wm and Mary Byrom Ballard.
Was she Howlet's widow? There is also a
Stephan Chenault in Bedford Co. VA where
Wm. and Mary Ballard both died, She in 1765
and he in 1794. They were Quakers.
