She was the gggrandaughter of Rev. Jesse James of Orange Co.,N.C. which later became Tn.In about 1800 he went to Wayne and Ripley Co's,Mo.His family were pioneers in the Hot Spring,Ark. area. They hacked their way into the wilderness. Some of the children of Rev. Jesse were: Jesse,Horner,William,John,among others.
