I do not think we are actually related. I am trying to find a relationship between William Chennault in Saline County, Arkansas who put up the bond 1842 for guardianship for Carey Avants/Avance being named guardian of Anna Jane Avants age 4 whose parents were dead. Carey Avants was married to Juda ?. Thought maybe she might be a Chennault since bonds were usually put up by relatives. I have Avants', Terry's, Kendall's, Hilton through Anna Terry Kendall and Wade Hampton Hilton. Anna Terry Kendall Hilton's daugher Mary Jane married John Avants 1850 and Anna Jane Avants married E T Kendall[son of Anna and brother to Mary Jane] in 1858.
