Elizabeth Iiams, d/o of William Iiams & Elizabeth Cheyney [she was the daughter of Richard Cheyney in Maryland] married Samuel Duvall. Their daughter Elizabeth Duvall b. 1697 m. Edward Tyler b. 1696.
Elizabeth Duvall & Edward Tyler had six children:One of which was Edward Tyler b.1718 m. Nancy Ann Langley b. 1732, daughter of James Langley.
Edward Tyler b. 1718 and Nancy Langley had 10 children - one of which was Robert Duval Langley Tyler b. 1751 and m. Margaret A. Cousin Tyler who was the d/o of Robert Tyler & Elinor Bradley.Robert Duvalb. 1751 & Margaret A. Cousin Tyler had at least 8 children.Robert Tyler b. 1773 m. Sarah Prichard [Cheney Line] and Ann Drusilla Tyler b. 1780 m. Jesse Holmes [Trumman Line].
Robert Tyler & Sarah Prichard had at least 9 children one of which was Willett TYler b. 1808 who married Rachel A. Montgomery and they had at least 10 children one of which was:James Alexander Tyler who married Sarah Elizabeth Swift. James A. Tyler & Sarah E. Swift had at least six children one of which was Margaret Ellen Tyler who married Thomas Herbert Cheney b. 1869 one of their children was Richard Herbert Cheney b.1915.Richard married Marjorie Lorraine Dickey.They had three children one of which was RIchard Bruce Cheney, VP U.S.
So, in a round about way, Richard Cheyney of Maryland would be related.a
