Greenleaf Cheney in Rockingham, NH, and Byfield Parish, MA?

I have a Greenleaf Cheney, b. 2/1775 in Rockingham Co., NH, residence 1800-1810 in Franklin Co., VT. After that, I have no information. There is a Rev. Greenleaf Cheney in Byfield Parish, MA, died 6/17/1855. Could this be one and the same individual?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
