Hi Marion,
'My' Henry Chenery had a son Henry J. Chenery born 1849 at Pancras. The Marriage Index has a Marriage of a Henry John Chenery December Qtr 1869 Pancras, which I think is probably him.
It also seems possible now that 'my' Henry had a cousin Henry, born 1813 Akenham Suffolk, son of James and Tammerson.
THIS Henry also had a son Henry!!aged 8 on the 1851 Census and 18 on the 1861 both at 81 Great Guildford Street, St Saviour Southwark.
Hope you can unravel that lot!!
rosie
