I'm new to this list.
Looking for birth/baptism of Charles CHENERY born abt 1822, or any of the children of Robert CHENERY and Phoebe MUTIMUR - born btw 1814 and 1832.
My GGGGrandfather was Charles CHENERY born abt 1822, of Wilby, Suffolk. He married Sarah GILES 30 October 1841 in the Parish Church Tillingham, Essex.
His father was listed as Robert CHENERY.
All information seems to indicate that Robert CHENERY, (son of James CHENERY & Elizabeth MILLS) and Phoebe MUTIMER (daughter of Stephen MUTIMER & Elizabeth BACON) were his parents. They married in Redlingfield, Suffolk in 1814.
The only baptism entry for this couple, to be found in Wilby so far is on 23 Dec. 1832 (born Oct 30th) William Baptism Son of Robert and Phoebe (late Mortimer, spinster) Carpenter.
On each census Charles CHENERY lists his birth place as Wilby, Suffolk.
Robert CHENERY is descended from Benjamin CHENERY and Catherine SAD.
