I know this is an old post and by now you may have solved this one Nev, but a quick search of BMD for Chellew marriages 1881-91 shows only one that fits - William Chellew to Mary Jane Tonkin at Truro Dec qtr 1881 - although all the William Chellew deaths in Cornwall for the same period are relatively older men! She was probably the Mary Jane christened 3 Sept 1857 to John and Sarah Tonkin in Truro.
