"From The Burlington (Vt.) Free Press, Wednesday, May 19, 1982, Page 2B: DEATH NOTICES and FUNERALS HELD MRS. ALICE C. FALLON Mrs. Alice C. Fallon, 81, of 316 Main St., widow of John Fallon who died in 1951, died early Tuesday morning at the Municipal Nursing Home after a short illness. She was born June 2, 1900, in Somerville, Mass., daughter of Albert and Josephine (Grant) Cheever. Mrs. Fallon wored at the Burlington Savings Bank for many year until retirement and more recently did volunteer work at the Fletcher Free Library. She is survived by three sons: John Fallon Jr. of Kansas City, Mo., Robert E. Fallon of Duxbury, Mass., and Richard L. Fallon of Sarasota, Fla., and one daughter, Mrs. William (Katherine) Smalley of Burlington, VT; 14 grandchildren, and a brother, Walter Cheever of Belmont, Mass. Memorial services will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, Burlington, Vermont. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fletcher Free Library Gift Fund, College Street, Burlington, Vt. 05401. The Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, 71 S.
