Hi Nikki,

One branch of my Cheethams have a John but I don't know yet if he stayed in Lancashire, England or emigrated.

The family details are:

In 1861
James CHEETHAM (b. 1840 in Lydiate)
married Cecily Johnson (b. 1843 in Scarisbrick)

Children (all boys & all born in Halsall, Lancashire):

Henry CHEETHAM b. 1862
Edward CHEETHAM b. 1864 m. Alice
Robert CHEETHAM b. 1872
James CHEETHAM b. 1876 m. Maria Lamb in 1896
John CHEETHAM b. 1878
Richard CHEETHAM b. 1879 m. Margaret Gibbons
.........
Thomas CHEETHAM b. 1884 christened on 10/8/1884

The problem is that there are just so many CHEETHAMS in 3 or 4 towns in Lancashire situated along the canal bank that it will take me some time to sort out all of them.

For the moment this is the only family group I'm sure of.

Best wishes,

Adrian in Barcelona.
