I was mistaken. The information that I had found was from a family record and not a will. I made a visit to the New England Genealogical Society and located the book. Here is the information: Family Record of Nathan Coles From Oyster Bay Town Records V. 1 1653-1690, p. 654 Nathan Coles was borne March ye 18 day in the yr 1671/2. Rachall Coles wife to Nathan Coles was Bornd 12 day Apr. 1672. The above said pasens was mared 21 day of Faberway in yr 1691. my dafter Ann Coles was b. Saptember 1 day 1695 my dafter Deborah Coles was b. Janawary 11 day 1697/8 my dafter Contant Coles was b. April 25, 1700 my dafter Rachel Coles was b. Janawary 15 day 1703/4 my dafter. Martha Coles was b. Nov 4 day 1706 my grandson Coles Mudge b. July 10, 1711 my grandson Michil Mudge b. Aug 30, 1713 my grandson Benjamin Cheeseman b. 15 nov. 1716 my grandson Samuel Cheeseman b. 23 Jan 1719 my grandson Thomas Cheeseman b. 15 Jan 1721 As you can see, Ann Coles did have three known male children by Samuel Cheeseman. She must have married him somewhere between 1714-1716. Only male grandchildren are listed, so there may have been other female grandchildren. One may have been my Martha Ogden. Perhaps she was the eldest daughter of Samuel and Ann (Coles) Cheeseman, b. perhaps 1715. It is a theory, but I believe it is worth investigating. Notify Administrator about this message?
