Hello Mary:
Thank you for your message.
Here's what I have that appears associated to Brandon:
...Jerusia "Rushia" A. Brandon, born 08 MAR 1844, Delaware Co, IN, prob. adopted dau. of Uriah and Lydia Pease. Married John Martin (1835-1918), 16 JUL 1861, Hamilton Co, IN.
Died 06 FEB 1896, Indiana. Note: Some sources have Jerusia's first name as "Jerusha" and one states "Rushia.
... Dorothy "Dori" Ann Brandon, born 31 OCT 1946, MI. 1m= Wesley John Orcutt, 30 JAN 1972, Chicago, IL. o/o 1979.
2m= Joseph R. Saltow, 19 JUN 1982, Dallas, TX
...Mary Ann Cheesman married Martin Weldon/ aka Lambert Weldon Martin (1820-1897), 02 APR 1852, Delaware Co, IN. Delaware Co MR 0002:0554. Settled in McCordsville, IN.
...Lambert Weldon Martin, born 09 OCT 1820,Wayne Co, IN, son of William and Mary (Weldon) Martin. Married Mary Ann Cheesman, 02 APR 1852, Delaware Co, IN. Died 12 SEP 1897, McCordsville, IN.
... John Martin, born 11 OCT 1835, Hancock Co, IN, son of William and Mary (Wall) Martin.
Married Jerusia A. Brandon Cheesman (1844-1896), 18 JUL 1861, Hamilton Co, IN.
Died 10 NOV 1918, Carroll Co, IN.
... I truly wish I could send you more on Brandon, but that's all I could find in my files at this time. I had a lot of information on a similar name "Branson", but those were among the names that were lost when my word processor crashed a couple of years ago, and I haven't had time to re-research them.
Anyway, if I can be of any further help, just let me know. All kindest wishes,
Dave Cheesman.
