Does anyone know the family of William Cheeseman, born 1792 in Kentshire, who married before 1827 to Anna Eddy, also of England. Their children are Alfred, Frederick G., Mary J., Maryann (Maryam?), Sarah, George, William Jr., and John Cheeseman.
William Cheeseman brought his family to Canada or Vermont around 1837, settling near St. Albans, Vermont. He moved c.1850 to Chazy, New York, where he operated a grocery or general store. He died in West Chazy, and is buried in St Mary's Cem.
