John Cheek (1774) married Martha Welch in 1808.
Their son Gasaway Cheek (1810) married Tersie Pike May 19, 1840 in Forsythe County, GA, near Gainsville. Tersie was born Feb. 19, 1812 in Greenville, SC.
Their children were John b. 1842, Sylvester b. 1845, Amanda b.1847, and Rebecca b. 1849
all in Forsythe Co.
Gasaway buried in Forsythe Co., Tersie buried
Pyatt, AR.
Shirley I have you listed as the wife of Bobby Slayden.
