Here is what i know the Cheeks in Pimiscot Co. Mo. theye are from Maury Co, Tn.and before that theye are fron NC. Only a litle is known of this branch of the Cheeks .. But it is belived that theye are part of a family groupe 3or 4 brothers and some cusins migrated to Columbia, Maury Co Tn. over 10 or so year spand starting around 1810 brought wives with and some maried into the TN. neighborhood of the locals.. Therefore there is a lot of cheeks in western TN. and the surounding area . I being one of them ..
