I have noticed those names being repeated myself. My 3rd great-grandfather's middle initial begins with an R. That would be Jeremiah and Tabitha Doyle Cheek's son, Benjamin R. Cheek. I do not know what the R stands for, yet. We also have Benjamin's brother, Edmond R., that named his son, William Randall Cheek. I do not know what Edmond's middle name is.
