Charles M Cheatwood, son of William (Charles) Cheatwood (of 1856 Cass Co, Nebraska, & 1860 Wilkes Co, NC), son of Thomas Cheatwood (of 1850 Surry Co, NC), son of John Chitwood (m. Rhoda), son of John Chitwood (of Franklin Co, VA, m. Elizabeth Tillotson), son of Matthias Cheatwood. There are still a lot of unknowns (need county court records, etc), but this appears to be sequence of events for Charles M. Cheatwood based on your information and census records:
m(1) 1896, Alberta ..., had son Guthrie, b Nov 1896 NC
m(2) 1898, Rosamond (Rose) Edwards, b Jan 1879 NC, div 1899, had dau Alberta (Bertie), b May 1899 NC
m(3) 1901, Sarah J. Kennedy, b 1875 NC, had son Fay, b 1902 NC, Sarah was living with her parents in 1910 & was a patient in State Hosp in Burke Co, NC by 1920 [unsure of this marriage, but if this was to Charles M., then marriage only lasted a year.]
m(4) 1902, Ola ..., b 1882 KS, had sons, Chandos?, b 1903 KS, & Walden, b 1911KS, Ola was still living with Charlie in 1920.
