Elaine, I too am interested in the RIDERs who are married to, living with or neighbors of Kinley Foster CORNETT in1870 & '80 in Blount and Loudon Cos., TN. I have looked at a number of your postings and you seem to have thought of every possible angle in the relationship between these people. Everywhere I have thought to look I discover you have already mined the records.
At this time I believe that Emaline FRANKLIN who married Kinley Foster CORNETT on 19 Feb 1870 in Monroe Co., TN and was with him on the 1870 Census in Blount Co., TN as Emma had previously been married to a FRANKLIN either in South Carolina or Georgia. Angelina/Angeline (age 12 in 1870) almost certainly is a product of that union. Although the 1870 Census calls her a CORNETT, when she married George L. CORNETT on 29 May 1879 she was a FRANKLIN.
The 1870 Blount Co., TN Census listing of Elizabeth RIDER (age 60) and the 1880 Loudon Co., TN Census listing for Catherine RIDER (Wifes Mother-89 yrs. old) are a real puzzle. The 1850 Pickens Co., SC Census (p. 393A, Dw. 316, Fam. 326) appears to offer important clues. I'm still looking for tracks in Georgia and would welcome the opportunity to discuss this family.
