No, sorry I have no documented proof. (sometimes it's easiser to disprove a connection than it is to prove) I have not even entered it into my data base yet just using it to give me a starting point.. According to his/our theory/info.... Amelia(Mealy) was born a Lester(Amelia Clark&Josiah Lester) but became Step-daughter to Josiah Cheatham when he married her mother.

I have documented through Oral family history, writings and published biography the Cheatham/Jones (304&305)as that is my line. the rest I am still struggling to prove with everyone else. I know this is not what you wanted to hear but I would hate to misslead you. I will store your e-mail and let you know of any break throughs and please do the same for me.
