To all my Cheatham cousins out there: Recent DNA studies with a sample taken from the line of Thomas Cheatham,Jr. show a very close match between descendants of John
"Surry" Dugger and the Cheathams of Chesterfield Co VA. We suspect that the father of our John Dugger may have been Marmaduke Cheatham and we desperately need a DNA sample from the line of Marmaduke, a direct line male descendant that carries the Cheatham last name, specifically. Can anyone of you that is interested in this study please contact me ASAP?
