Thank you, Linda, for listing this information. I have been trying to figure out who William Henry Cheairs is all night. I received some information from another Cheairs researcher who listed William and his wife, Charlotte Bell and their son, William Jr who was born 1892. I was trying to fit them into the line of John Francis Cheairs and Eleanor Bittick who came to Texas in 1835 from Arkansas. There is another line of Cheairs who came to TX from TN - as I recall. I am not aware of our Cheairs being in Palo Pinto County.
You have quite a mystery on your hands! Good luck in solving the puzzle.
