Hello All:
Robert O. Blea here once again with an update to my just re-
cent posting.
My great-grandmother,Rebecca Chavez and her brother,Pedro Chavez,were children of Jesus Florentino Chavez and Refugio ?
They lived in the Placitas-Bernalillo County,New Mexico area
in 1900 and in 1910.
It looks like Great-great-grandfather,Jesus Florentino,had already died by the 1920 census.Some time after becoming wi-
dowed,Great-great-grandmother,Refugio,moved to Peralta-Valen
cia County,New Mexico.
Records also show that the marriage of Jesus Florentino Cha-
vez and Refugio ? was the second marriage for him and the first for her.
It may be possible that Great-great-grandmother,Refugio's maiden name may have been Mora,but that is not known for cer
tain.
