My family is from Walker, LA and Live Oak, LA. This Elijah "Elige" Chavers, from Tangipahoa Parish, who was married to Rosa Lee is also my great great grandfather. My trail has gone cold at this point and I cannot find his parents or siblings. He is the farthest ancestor I could find from my father: Mark Chavers (1961-), grandfather: Joseph E. Chavers (1924-2004), and my great grandfather: Joseph J. Chavers Sr. (1888-1969). Please help me if you have any information on this lineage. My email is astphi889@yahoo.com.
