Chavers Family Genealogy Forum

I reached this forum thru my research of the Abraham Anderson Line of Monroe Co. AL. Abe had a daughter named Adeline Matilda Anderson who married George Washington Hawthorne. Adeline and George died bef. 1856 because in Abrahams' will in 1856 he leaves to their children. One of these children is an Adaline Hawthorne who has married a John C. McMillan. John C. and Adaline are on the 1860 Monroe co. Al Census with no children. On the 1880 Conecuh Co.Census they have 7 children. The oldest child is Susan O. age 19. I have been unable to locate this Susan O. on a 1900 Census. Her father and mother John C. and Adaline McMillan showed up on the 1900 census in Butler Co. Ala. but Susan O. is not with them. I contend it is because she has married Uriah Chavers by 1900. She shows up as his wife on the 1910 US Fl. Santa Rosa Census as the wife of Chavers. Furthermore she has a son with her named Dyson A. McMillan either from another marriage to another McMillan or out of wedlock. The name Dyson is the maiden name of Abraham Andersons wife Susannah Dyson. The A. in Dyson stands for Abraham. Dyson Abraham McMillan is how his name is on his WW1 registration living in Santa Rosa, FL. Futher evidence of this connection to the Andersons is thru the child Susan O. had with Uriah named Wright Chavers. Wright is on the 1920 FL. Santa Rosa Mulat Census with a wife, a child and a grandmother named Adaline M. McMillan. This is Susan Orelia McMillan/Chavers MOTHER. Some folks have her mother as a grandma McWilliams. I do not have any McWilliams in this line.
If you know of any of my information presented her to be false please post a reply. Jim Goodwin
